About Hamptons Firewood
Over the past decade there has been a steady decline in the quality of firewood available on Long Island. That is what inspired us to have best firewood available in on Long Island.
In 2007 we began selling firewood on the side of the road and also to our friends & family. The demand for our firewood grew quickly. We listened to what people wanted and we only sold what we would burn in our own homes.
Our first facility was located on 42 acres in Riverhead, NY. Right in the middle of Long Island Wine Country.
We also have seasonal distribution facilities. Sorry, but all of our locations are for production & distribution only. They are not open to the public.
Back in the early days we were drying & storing firewood in green houses, where we monitored temperature, humidity and air flow to produce high quality seasoned firewood.
We quickly realized that KILN DRIED firewood was the future of the firewood industry. We now work year round to guarantee we have the highest quality KILN DRIED firewood in on Long Island.
During the peak season (August thru March) we have our best selection of KILN DRIED firewood. During the offseason (May thru July) we have add KILN DRIED Cooking Wood for pizza ovens.
